Review: Restrained X X Glue by Immobile Concepts

Immobile Concepts has been busy lately, and among his latest batch of uploads is a new scene called "Restrained X X Glue". While the title doesn't make much sense when you read it, I think you'll understand when you take a look at the video thumbnail (which I can't post here for reasons that will probably be obvious). The Story

Eden walks into a room wearing only a short black skirt and some tape over her nipples. She absentmindedly rests her hands on a table which, fortunately for us, happens to be absolutely slathered in thick, yellow glue. Immediately sensing something is wrong, she attempts to pull her hands out but only succeeds in getting her chest stuck to the table as well. Eventually her hands somehow get stuck to her breasts, then back to the table, back to her breasts, and so on until she gives up at the end, defeated.

The Good 

I mean...it's a topless woman struggling futilely to free her hands and breasts from a giant mass of glue. That's not something we ever really get to see, at least on this side of the world (our friends in Japan tend to be a bit more adventurous with the sticky stuff). If my brief summary and the video thumbnail in Immobile's store appeal to you, I think you'll really like this one. I personally found it refreshing to see something different from the stuck feet that we usually see. The sheer volume of glue on display is impressive too: Eden gets covered in a sticky web that seems to stretch endlessly without breaking, and she makes alluring struggle sounds and facial expressions as she tries unsuccessfully to detach herself. Immobile also gets pretty creative with the camera angles at times.

The Bad

This is a pretty solid production all around, but if I had to pick at something (and you know I do), I'd say that Eden often stretches the glue to unrealistic lengths, which can break the illusion that she's actually caught. Some of this might have to do with the glue that was used (more on that below) -- some of the thicker adhesives might require a little less acting. From a broader perspective, I'd make the controversial suggestion that we've perhaps seen enough of Eden for a while, at least in solo productions. Maybe it's just that Immobile gives her too many scenes to do in a very short time....While she always turns in a reliable performance, we've just seen and heard SO much of her at this point, and she doesn't really seem to have much new to say. I understand the advantages of working with someone you know and trust, and we've seen the risks of working with someone new...Not to mention, it's probably also a lot more challenging to convince a brand new person to do an ambitious scene like this...but some fresh faces/voices would be welcome.

The Sticky

The glue Immobile used for this scene is apparently a Chinese brand of rat glue that I don't think we've seen before. While it stretches for days, it seems to be a little softer than some of the other adhesives, with a lower tensile strength. The end result is that it looks more messy than actually restrictive, and I would have rather seen this done with X-Way, but I was able to look past that.

The Verdict

Overall, I'd highly recommend this one unless you're a ride-or-die foot enthusiast. "Restrained X X Glue" can be purchased from the Immobile Concepts clip store for $29.99.
