Review: "Barbi Rat Glue Trap Barefoot Stuck"

© StickyBarbi
I'll admit that I have a bit of a weak spot for StickyBarbi's videos.  They're generally pretty reasonably priced, if a bit long, Barbi is cute, and the videos have a raw, low-budget feel to them that makes me want to send her my money time and time again.  For any of Barbi's videos that I review, I'll be titling them as they're called on her Clips4Sale site, since they don't really seem to have titles beyond that.  As such, the titles aren't very descriptive, so you may have to search the site for the exact phrase to find the one I'm talking about.  This one was released on 11/11/10, which should make it easier to find.

For those of you who haven't seen one of her videos, Barbie is a pretty young blonde with a penchant for fake toenails who apparently films videos with her boyfriend in one of two locations in his/her/their home.   Most of her videos simply involve her stepping into a huge puddle of rat trap glue and then struggling for 10-15 minutes, with slight variations, such as the toenail color.  In this case, they're bright orange.   Barbi is wearing short pink shorts and a white t-shirt, but you see very little of her in this video - the focus is almost entirely on her feet.

The good: Barbi pulls and tugs convincingly at her feet, and the rat trap glue clings tenaciously to her as it stretches and then snaps her back down to the ground.   Barbi and her friend are also not afraid to use a LOT of glue, which Barbi seems to enjoy twisting and grinding her feet into.

The bad:  If you've seen other videos Barbi has done, this one isn't going to add anything new for you.  Barbi and her friend have a tendency to do the same video over and over again, and this one really wasn't any exception. I accept that the stuck fetish is largely populated with foot people, but I enjoy when the camera occasionally pulls back and shows the model's struggles (especially for a lovely woman like Barbi).  Unfortunately we only see from her knees down for the majority of this video.  She also seems to be quieter in this one; we get a few grunts as she struggles, but I don't think she actually speaks at all.  I get the feeling that Barbi is pretty shy in front of the camera, which is fine (I would be too), but that's really not a good excuse to continuously make the same video and charge for it, when you're only changing the toenail color.  Foot fetishists out you disagree? Please feel free to comment.

The verdict:  If you really love feet twisting around in glue, appreciate long fake nails, and haven't seen her other vids, I think you'll enjoy this one.  For me, it was a step backward from some of her better work.

Review: "Noir Gets Stuck"

© Stuckfast Productions
Stuckfast is the Godfather of stuck videos.  To the best of my knowledge, he was the first one to create a video that catered specifically to the sticky fetish, and to this day, several of his videos remain among the best ones you can get (and in one well-known case, "CAN'T get").   He seems to have been focused almost exclusively on the Freeze fetish for the past few years, but his name still carries a lot of weight, and it's easy to see why I was really excited when he announced out of the blue that he had made a new video simply titled, "Noir Gets Stuck".

Noir is a buxom blonde sporting a black dress and black pumps with fairly thick heels who wanders into an empty apartment hoping to rent it.  She soon inexplicably gets her heels stuck to the carpet.  After eventually breaking free, she enters the kitchen and gets stuck again, this time in a small puddle of what appears to be melted gummies. She struggles unsuccessfully for a few more minutes before falling out of her heels and getting her pantyhosed feet stuck, which she struggles with until the end.

The good: Noir is very beautiful (although she has a bit too much of a bleached-blonde porn star look for my particular taste), and if you're a boob guy (or gal), you're going to be really happy with Stuckfast's choice of her as a model.  Stuckfast is also a talented cinematographer, and uses a lot of creative camera angles that highlight her..."assets" as well as her stuck feet.  Her heavy shoes make a satisfying "clomp" as they are pulled back down into the glue again and again, which adds a nice touch of realism.  I'm also a fan of stuck pantyhose...partly because I love pantyhose on women in general, but also because their texture allows them to get more stuck in gummies than bare skin does.  To top it all off, Stuckfast includes about 2 minutes of behind the scenes footage as Noir struggles to get a pantyhosed foot out of the puddle and then slowly takes the hose off while she talks a bit with the cameraman (presumably Stuckfast).

The bad: The heels-stuck-to-carpet scene that comprised the first third of the movie was clearly fake and just didn't work for me at all.   The real struggle appears to be Noir trying to figure out how to act stuck in a substance that isn't really there.  At one point right before she escapes, she says, "Maybe if I just try really hard to pull them up" as if the thought just occurred to her. Personally, that would have been the first thing I tried!  Her struggling gets much better after she has a real substance to interact with, but the shoes-in-gummi scene still left a bit to be desired in terms of believability.  The sticky puddle was also fairly small and thin compared to what you might see in a Jamie Daniels or Sticky Barbi clip.  I really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes bit at the end and wished there had been more to it -- it picks up after Noir had already freed one of her feet.

"Noir Gets Stuck" isn't Stuckfast's best work, and if you don't like shoes or pantyhosed feet in glue, you'll want to look elsewhere.  Although hampered by a dismal first act, the movie is salvaged by the high quality of the remaining 8 minutes, making this a solid outing from a stuck movie legend, and I'm glad he decided to return to the game, even temporarily.

Grade: B- (an average of D for the carpet scene, and B+ for the rest)

Review: "Sticky Sorority"

© Jamie Daniels
When you're dealing with an "interest" like ours, that is largely grounded in fantasy and requires considerable suspension of belief, you make some concessions in order to make certain situations seem more exciting to you despite obvious and sometimes glaring shortcomings.  Let's face it -- cartoony stretchy glue that only lets you move so far before forcibly snapping you back into place does not, and probably never will, exist.  What really makes a sticky video work is how well the actress sells it.  Enter "Sticky Sorority", from Jamie Daniels.

The premise is simple, but full of potential: Jamie and Jackie are members of a sorority who are planning to put their new recruit (a curvy beauty named Rachel) through a bit of hazing as part of her initiation.  They blindfold her and trick her into sitting in a chair covered in melted gummies, then stick her further with the old "lotion turns out to be glue" trick for her hands, and "glue in the shoes" trick for her feet.  Thoroughly caught, Rachel struggles and whines while being taunted incessantly and mercilessly by her "captors".

Rachel, despite being a first-timer in this type of video does an amazing job as the whiny damsel-in-distress.  She struggles convincingly and jiggles enticingly as she tries unsuccessfully to escape.  Jackie and Jamie are at their bitchiest as they belittle her, even going so far as to blame her for ruining their chair, which actually begins to tear a bit from the strength of the gummies.  There's a bit of something here for lots of different interests -- stuck hands, butt stuck, feet stuck inside heels (though the heels themselves aren't stuck to the floor).  And in possibly the best ending I've ever seen, there's some bonus footage where you see how stuck Rachel actually was as Jamie has to cut her denim skirt off, after which we're treated to a fantastic view of her nice round ass in skimpy panties.

We all have our individual preferences, and I'd be kidding myself if I said that those didn't affect my grading scheme to some extent, but this was well-acted, had several different types of sticky situations, had some great bonus footage, and Rachel was, at least in part, really quite stuck.  In my humble opinion, this is one of the best stuck videos available right now and I'm looking forward to watching it again.  The very last words you hear in the video are "that's awesome".

Well said.

Review: "Sweet and Sticky"

© Chloe Creations
Chloe Creations has become sort of a joke over the years, with the nadir of their infamy probably being the recurring dishonorable mention they received during every(?) episode of the first season of G4TVs "The International Sexy Ladies Show".  Watching their low-budget setup and minimal acting, it's not hard to understand why, but the thing to keep in mind is that Chloe and Co. have turned out a few decent productions over the years.  Case in point: 2007's "Sweet and Sticky".

"Sweet and Sticky" features a lovely young woman named Charlotte whose confused wandering around a vacant room is cut short when she steps into a puddle of sticky melted gummi candy.  Things go from bad to worse as she struggles and eventually falls into the mess.  She proceeds to get just about every body part stuck to something over the course of the next 20 minutes.

The acting here is pretty nonexistent -- Charlotte sort of mumbles about not being able to get out for the first few minutes but falls silent for the remainder of the movie, and her struggles are decent, although there is no sense of urgency to her actions and her motivation seems to suffer a bit as the movie plays on, reaching a low point when she casts a brief but bored look at the camera as if to say, "am I done yet?".  She also commits the cardinal sin (in my opinion) of stuck videos, which is when the victim is ostensibly stuck but, during her struggles, pulls her foot, hand, etc. right out of the glue accidentally.  Handled improperly, this can really take me out of the movie. The real draw of "Sweet and Sticky" is the sheer amount of gummies involved.  Other filmmakers may have topped it since, but at the time, this was the most I had ever seen in a sticky video, and it still holds up pretty well.  As sticky videos go, this is a good STUCK videos go, it's only average, made slightly better by a lot of goo and a beautiful model in a skintight red dress and heels.

"Sweet and Sticky" is far from the best thing out there, and not even the best sticky video that Chloe has made, but watching it now takes me back to a time when Chloe Creations was a brand new creator of original stuck content whose videos weren't automatically expected to be disappointing.  Though she hasn't managed to live up to our expectations, she got off to a really good start with this one.  Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already.

Review: "KC's trouble with her roommate"

© Devil Clown Productions
I only recently became aware of Devil Clown Productions (love the name!) a few months ago, and a quick glance at their site reveals why -- they are primarily a producer of vore videos.  As I tend to avoid anything grim in my hunt for fetish material, vore isn't my cup of tea, but I was very pleased when someone brought it to my attention that they had produced two sticky videos that had nothing to do with their usual specialty.  Since they were reasonably priced at only about $6 per clip, I snapped them both up and was glad I did.  Since then, they've produced a few other videos, but that's a topic for another post.

"KC's trouble with her roommate", as it's called on their C4S store, features KC (as you might have guessed), an adorable tattooed vixen with an infectious smile, a foul mouth, and a slight southern accent.  The movie wastes none of its 5 minutes on setup - KC skips into the kitchen and immediately lands barefoot in the trap her roommate had set for her, a tray full of melted gummi candy.  She eventually sits down in an ill-advised attempt to better free herself and ends up getting her hands stuck as well.  There's some good back-and-forth with her roommate, who taunts her from a safe distance.  KC brings a fantastic energy to this video; you can tell that she "gets" it, despite never having done it before (to the best of my knowledge).  The struggling is solid and believable, and there's plenty of the stretch-but-get-snapped-back type of stickiness that I love.

This video may not be for everyone -- like I said before, KC is barefoot, so shoe-stuck people are out of luck with this one.  KC also has sort of a hippie/indie rock/pixie chick sort of look, which some people might not appreciate as much as I do.  The only minor complaint I had was that the quality of the video was a bit low - I think it could be compressed less in this day and age of high-speed internet connections.   Still, for only $6, this was a great value that I find myself watching over and over, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Devil Clown Productions comes up with in the future.

Review: "Sticky Buns"

© Jamie Daniels
Jamie Daniels burst onto the stuck scene and into our hearts about a year and a half ago.  At the time, all that we could see of her was an all-too-brief 20 seconds of a pretty brunette with a heavy northeastern accent wearing a black dress and high heels stuck to a big sheet of paper with some sort of stretchy glue, but even with that brief preview, I think we could all see the potential that she had.  Since then, she has gone on to produce some of my favorite sticky videos, so I thought it would be appropriate if I started this blog off with a review of the first movie I ever bought from her: "Sticky Buns".

The story is simple, as these tend to be: Jamie and Dee star as roommates who begin the movie quarreling about the state of their pool area after a wild party.  Things quickly go downhill from there, as a frustrated Jamie shoves Dee who lands bottom-first in a puddle of some unknown (but quite sticky) substance that someone had left on top of the wall surrounding their pool.  Dee spends the remaining 6 minutes struggling, cursing, and pleading, as she tries to find a way out of her predicament.

Fans of bondage might recognize Dee, who did a fair amount of work on the sites Conversation Piece and Quality Control a few years ago.  She's attractive and expressive, a good actress, and really sells the angry, frustrated attitude -- no meek damsel-in-distress here!  She's wearing a skintight knee-length black skirt and a grey tank top, both of which show off her fit physique quite well.  She's also wearing clear heels, but those are definitely not the focus here -- this is for people who like stuck butts.  Jamie and Co. appear to have used rat trap glue, which provides great visual elasticity, and Dee does an admirable job struggling as she tries to pull away but keeps getting pulled back.  Overall, this is a great early effort from Jamie Daniels, and a no-brainer if you like your women stuck sitting in glue.
